There are 9 cards in the series, and you'll receive 5 cards at random for purchasing and playing the game. 1 Trading Cards 2 Foil Cards 3 Badges 4 Booster Pack 5 Emoticons 6 Profile Backgrounds 7 Card Artwork. Freedom Planet 2 is a new game from GalaxyTrail, LLC, sequel to the breakout hit Freedom Planet. This is an independently developed video game created from the skills and talents of multiple like minded developers, artists, voice actors and writers. In Freedom Planet 2, Lilac, Carol and Milla team up with their once rival Neera to face a new.

Spade the Cavy is the original version of Spade, a Sonic fan character created by Strife in 2011. When Freedom Planet was converted from a fan game into an original property, Strife decided to alter Spade's design to less resemble a Sonic character, and changed him into a panda to better fit Freedom Planet's. Spade is not playable in the main story, and can only be accessed in a beta version of Freedom Planet via the Steam version or by hacking the game. Main Stages Edit Freedom Planet has fourteen stages, with most having two acts, a miniboss in the middle and a proper stage boss at the end.

Sash Lilac

VOICED BY DAWN M. BENNETT
The heroine of the story. Lilac is thrown headfirst into the struggle against Lord Brevon when a strange creature falls from the sky asking for her help. Fed up with Brevon’s schemes, she eagerly jumps into action! However, she remains oblivious to the dangers she will face along the way, including a few surprises from her past…

Carol Tea

VOICED BY AMANDA LOTT, a.k.a. APORIA
An energetic wildcat with a thirst for adventure. Carol is impulsive and tends to get in trouble, but she’s intensely loyal to anyone she considers a friend, including her idol Lilac. With her feline reflexes, Carol can cling to walls and use special jump pads to warp around. Sometimes she’ll even drive a small motorcycle to catch up to her friends!

Milla Basset

VOICED BY AIMEE SMITH, a.k.a. ATheatricalSongbird
Milla can track sources of energy with her large ears and keen sense of smell. She has many dog-like instincts and will often do things like stick her tongue out, chase shiny objects, and run on all fours. She’s bashful, but when she opens up she reveals her down-to-earth nature and colorful imagination.

Commander Torque

VOICED BY PATRICK SEYMOUR
Torque is a starship commander from another world who is forced to disguise himself as one of the locals. He’s on a mission to stop Lord Brevon, and fortunately, Lilac and her friends have offered to help him on his quest. He doesn’t like combat, but when the going gets tough, he has a state-of-the-art blaster that changes form depending on the elements it absorbs.

Spade

VOICED BY SEAN CHIPLOCK, a.k.a. SONICMEGA
Spade is a member of the Red Scarves, an underground legion of thieves and assassins. He prefers to stay out of the spotlight, but when his royal brother offers him a chance to pull off the greatest heist in the history of Avalice, he simply can’t refuse. Little does he know that the treasure he’s about to steal is the legendary Kingdom Stone…

Protectors of Avalice

The Royal Magister

VOICED BY EDWYN TIONG, a.k.a. OMAHDON
The Magister acts as the spiritual leader of Shang Tu and the commander of the royal guard. Despite his pride and wisdom, he doesn’t have much experience with armed conflicts, and is unable to stop the legendary Kingdom Stone from being stolen. As an individual, he is cold and deceitful towards outsiders, but loyal to his people.

General Gong

VOICED BY JASON LORD, a.k.a. SUEZO
Gong is the Royal Magister’s most decorated and experienced soldier. Because of his skill at sniffing out trouble, he is often called upon to protect people at special events. He is nicknamed after his weapon of choice – a massive shield that makes a gong-like noise whenever he slams it into his enemies.

Mayor Zao

VOICED BY ALEJANDRO SAAB, a.k.a. KAGGY
Mayor Zao is the leader of Shang Tu’s rival city, Shang Mu. In contrast to his rival, who is pacifist and dignified, the Mayor is militaristic and greedy. He is very mischievous and will hatch all kinds of crazy schemes to gain more wealth. This makes him easy to control, as he is quickly swayed by the promise of riches.

Neera Li

VOICED BY ASHLYN SELICH
Neera is a royal priestess who worked under the king of the water city Shuigang until his recent death. When his son, Prince Dail, inherited the throne and became mad with power, she left the kingdom and allied herself with the Royal Magister instead. She hopes to gain his trust so that he can help her knock some sense into the Prince.

Prince Dail

VOICED BY SEAN CHIPLOCK, a.k.a. SONICMEGA
Prince Dail is the new king of Shuigang following the sudden assassination of his father. He aggressively searches for the killer, even going so far as to ask his criminal half-brother Spade for help. Little does he know that he is being brainwashed and corrupted by the very man he is looking for…

Threats to Avalice

Serpentine

VOICED BY JASON LORD, a.k.a. SUEZO
Serpentine is Lord Brevon’s most powerful mercenary. As a viper, he often wished to have arms, so when Brevon offered him a set of robotic limbs, he couldn’t refuse. Unfortunately, the arms infected him with a virus that drove him to insanity and made him completely obedient to Brevon’s will.

Syntax

VOICED BY VICTORIA VITTI
Hello. You are viewing the biographical profiles of significant life forms encountered during Lord Brevon’s expedition on Celestial Body M-516, known locally as Planet Avalice. Unfortunately, data on this specific character is encrypted. Please launch the artificial simulation program “Freedom Planet” to bypass this encryption. Thank you.

Arktivus Brevon

VOICED BY XANDER BARRIGA, a.k.a. DOCTORFRIGHT
Lord Brevon is a sadistic warlord from beyond the stars who crash-lands on Avalice after an intense space battle. He is perfectly willing to drain the life out of the planet in order to rebuild his starship and continue his dreams of galactic conquest. He has a very commanding presence, and the other characters’ fear of him is one of his defining traits.

January 2013 Prototype

Version 1.3.0; dated January 14th, 2013.

  • Lilac's has been redesigned following criticism over her resemblance to Sonic.
  • Lilac can now use the Dragon Cyclone by pressing the Jump button mid-air. the energy bar needs to be full before it can be used.
  • Carol can now use the Pounce mid-air as well as access her bike.
  • Using the bike drains energy while moving and, depending on the horizontal speed, deals more touch damage to enemies. Pressing Special makes Carol dismount from the bike.
  • The Wild Kick only works when Carol is not riding her bike.
  • The function to swap shields is inaccessible due to Lilac and Carol making use of the Special button in different ways.
  • Spade can now throw cards as his main attack as well as use the Flash Jump.
  • By default, the Flash Jump dashes upwards rather than sidewards.
  • During the Flash Jump, Spade would leave a purple afterimage rather than a green one.
  • Spade's special attack is different; he throws a single card that would explode upon impact.
  • Milla can be accessed through memory editing.
  • Milla can only use her shield, which is mapped to the Special button.
  • Milla's shield cannot reflect the projectiles of the enemies found in Dragon Valley.

Prince Dail Boss

Titled 'Like a Boss'; composer Leila Wilson originally wrote it for a personal project, Symphony of Shifting Tides (then known as Elancia Chronicles), and it was included in Freedom Planet starting with v1.5 as a placeholder for boss fights with Prince Dail. By the game's release, it was replaced with a proper theme ('Prince Dail Boss Battle' from the OST). The placeholder itself was later remade and uploaded to SoundCloud in October 2014 following the game's publication.

  • Carol can now use the Wild Claw.
  • Carol, while riding her bike, can now use the Nitro Boost.
  • Using the Nitro Boost will boost Carol until the energy bar is depleted.
  • She can also use a double jump, though it doesn't have the properties as the Air Boost; it doesn't drain energy but also doesn't serve as a spinning attack and doesn't give invincibility frames.
  • Milla can now use the Super Shield Burst.
  • The Super Shield Burst doesn't have knockback.
